Karen Landon, MSHRM, Learning & Development Manager

Karen joined the team in 2012 as a Senior Human Resources Consultant with more than ten years of proven expertise developing and implementing talent management strategies and human resources programs that protect assets and retain talent.  She is now the firm’s Learning & Development Manager, overseeing and leading its efforts toward continual learning and employee training, progress, and growth. Karen identifies learning and development opportunities and vendors that deliver skills and knowledge training and development that align with the firm’s goals. 
 

She holds a master's degree in human resources with a focus in legal studies and a bachelor's degree in history education.  Karen has worked with employees and managers on a wide variety of employee relations issues in both the public and private sectors.  She has conducted numerous investigations regarding employee misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and disciplinary action, and made recommendations for action to general counsel and employment attorneys.
